How to make a Scroll Saw Bowl - woodworking
Woodworker Fabian recently shared a video showing how he uses a scroll saw to create a three-dimensional bowl.
The technique is stunning, if a bit time-consuming. Essentially, he starts with a flat template and cuts out concentric, curved pieces of wood.
He then uses glue to layer them together, creating a gently arching and very beautiful bowl.
Sanding and other finishing techniques round out the project.
It’s a fantastic example of the different ways you can use a scroll saw unconventionally.
